Requirement:
During 2002, Countryside Properties commissioned CD9, already its partner of choice, to extend the functionality lying behind their New Homes website.
Strategy:
Aimed at potential home buyers, the key to the new website would be a fast and efficient search engine, providing users with comprehensive information about each development.
Solution:
Taking advantage of the Microsoft .NET platform, the website provides seamless integration with development-specific microsites, third-party property marketing websites, and Countryside's internal CRM system and intranet. Development, plot, availability and customer information are shared throughout.
The supporting web-based administration application allows Countryside Properties to flexibly manage all aspects of this information quickly, efficiently and securely.
With many developments having a large number of plots - usually split across several phases - the administration application is integrated with Microsoft Excel to provide quick and fast editing for all plot information. Plot information is automatically processed; aggregating price and bedroom information into the Home Search. This data and any additional plot information provided in the Excel workbook is made instantly available to all Countryside websites and microsites via XML and ASP.NET Web Services.
